RedChip’s Small-Cap Radio host is a long-time veteran of radio

The host of RedChip Small-Cap Radio™, Gary McKenzie, has been featured in North Carolina’s Pilot newspaper. The article, which ran November 26, 2008, features highlights from Mr. McKenzie’s long and colorful career in radio broadcasting, which included his early stints as a disc jockey and local news anchor.

McKenzie, who broadcasts from his studio in Pinehurst, North Carolina, began working on network radio in 1980 with America’s first satellite radio network RKO, and later with Dick Clark’s United Stations Radio Networks and CBS.

As host of RedChip Small-Cap Radio, McKenzie interviews the CEO’s and executive management teams of small-cap companies. The daily financial program can be heard every day from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. EST on RedChip’s online audio stream at http://www.RedChip.com or on Business Talk Radio affiliate stations in 30 markets nationwide, including suburban New York; Washington, D.C.; Boston; Seattle; San Diego; and more.

“Our goal is to showcase emerging small-cap companies, the undiscovered and the undervalued companies still operating under Wall Street’s radar,” said Gary McKenzie. “All big companies start out small,” he added. “We want to offer investors an inside look at the industries and businesses of the emerging small-caps, with firsthand information from the CEOs and the leaders within these companies. We want to know what may make them the next blue chip.”

This week’s show features Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide (QTWW); Longwei Petroleum Investment Holding (LPIH); India Globalization Capital (IGC); RXi Pharmaceuticals (RXII); Bioheart, Inc. (BHRT); ZAGG (ZAGG); GTX Corp (GTXO); Perfectenergy International (PFGY); and more.

Hi, Claire. Thanks for writing. RedChip Radio is actually delivered via satellite to the radio stations that carry the program. We are strictly a terrestrial, over-the-air, and Internet radio program, not actually on satellite radio. In Orlando, Florida, for example, you can tune into KVTA AM-1520, to hear the RedChip Small-Cap Radio Show at 3 PM Eastern time daily. Or, you can listen via the live Internet stream found at http://www.redchip.com/visibility/Radio/radioMain.asp.
