A quick Google search for “alternative energy sources” turns up the results one might expect: high-profile energy sources like solar, wind, hydroelectric, and nuclear fusion are at the top of the list. While Alter NRG is still an early stage company (it went public in April 2007), it has been advancing a number of promising engineering projects with industry-leading partners including its coal-retrofit partner, NRG Energy (NYSE: NRG), who is working to further the development of retrofitting its Somerset, Massachusetts, coal power facility.

Ltd. Uhde is part of German industrial conglomerate ThyssenKrupp and is one of the world’s leading engineering companies in the design and construction of chemical, refining and other industrial plants.
